This assignment was an continuation of the previous magazine layout project. For this assignment, I was to design a layout for a digital magazine article. I was required to have clickable elements which would open up new windows, take the user to a new page, etc.
For this assignment in particular, I was inspired to create a long article about my favorite band, One Direction, and celebrate its 10 year anniversary. I wanted to include pictures along some kind of timeline and also a Where are They Now section to accompany the main article.
I recycled my ideas of a scrapbook-like layout from the previous project and using the band's most recent album as the aesthetic. I have included a video at the bottom of this page to demonstrate the interactive elements of the magazine.
