For my final project in Graphic Design II, I was tasked with creating an infographic of my choice. My love of Marvel movies inspired me to create an infographic on a historical event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Colors were taken from previous Marvel movie posts and the colors of the Infinity Stones and typefaces were inspired by the Marvel logo.
This project seriously challenged what I knew about creating cohesive layouts. I was struggling a lot with fitting the timeline into my design. Initially I wanted to place it off to the side, but consequently it cut off a large portion of the limited space which I had. I had to find a way to somehow weave it into the rest of my data points. Because there is a major chunk of time where "nothing" happens, I decided to cut it out completely and have the timeline jump to when the action resumes. In it's place, I fit more data points.
